[Re]Play the System

›Play The System‹ is an archive that documents the work of students and teachers who worked under Prof. Heike Grebin. In the course ›[Re] Play The System‹, four students spent two semesters conceptualizing, designing, and programming a new ›Play The System‹ website. This is one of them.

The website makes use of the archive aesthetic and implements it in a playful way. It uses the shapes and color coordination of tabs to structure the website and visually differentiate the various content types. Users have various options for finding content: non-hierarchical and exploratory or organized and targeted. Another goal of the course was to make the content available online and offline using Web2Print. The collection allows selected entries to be collected and printed into a booklet.
